Song Critique Workshops
Songsalive! holds workshops where songwriters gather to share their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the songwriting communities we have created around the world. The first half is solely dedicated to an in-the-round workshop where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - followed by a guest speaker/industry discussion in the second half and plenty of time to talk and network. Moderated by Stephen Kiely, Rita Bratovich and Eleanor Baker .

A new entity, ASONG (AUSTRALIAN SONGWRITERS OFFICIAL NATIONAL GROUP), has been created, which will act as an umbrella structure to build upon and extend the foundations laid down by the respective Australian songwriting member organisations, ASA (Australian Songwriters Association), Songsalive!, and SSA (The Songwriting Society of Australia). For the first time, Australian songwriters, will enjoy the benefits of having a unified, group which, while comprising elements of its independent members, will connect songwriters in Australia like never before, and strengthen their voice in the music industry.
